Current data collection
Lab Intel is currently a static education site. It does not have user accounts, a checkout flow, a newsletter signup, comments, a public contact form, appointment scheduling, personal result upload, or a personal health intake workflow.
The on-page search box filters visible links in the browser. It is not a site-search service and does not send search terms to Lab Intel.
Analytics, ads, and cookies
Lab Intel does not currently include third-party analytics scripts, advertising tags, remarketing pixels, or a cookie banner. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this notice should be updated before deployment and the tools should not be used to collect sensitive health queries without clear disclosure and a defensible privacy reason.
Hosting and security logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request data needed to serve pages, secure the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot deployments. That can include information such as requested URLs, timestamps, IP-related network data, user-agent strings, and error information. Lab Intel should not treat those logs as a personal health intake system.
Do not send personal health information
Do not send, paste, upload, or try to submit lab results, genetic reports, STI exposure details, symptoms, diagnosis history, insurance information, or other personal health information to Lab Intel. The site does not currently provide a secure intake system, medical review, or personalized response workflow.
HIPAA and consumer health privacy
HIPAA applies to covered entities and business associates, not every health-related website. Lab Intel is not presenting itself as a health care provider, health plan, health care clearinghouse, or business associate. Still, health-related browsing and search behavior can be sensitive, and future product choices should be made with health privacy in mind.
Future contact forms or monetization
Before Lab Intel adds a contact form, newsletter, analytics platform, affiliate tracking, lead generation, product comparison, or account feature, the site should document what is collected, why it is collected, where it goes, how long it is kept, and whether any vendor receives health-adjacent information. See the monetization disclosure for the current no-ad, no-affiliate stance.
Current safe-use guidance
- Read pages for general education only.
- Do not enter personal results into the site search box.
- Do not email or submit personal health details unless a future intake path explicitly says it is available and secure.
- Use clinicians, public-health clinics, laboratories, or emergency services for personal medical decisions.
